An interior designed and decorated from scratch is a big challenge but also a lot of room for improvement. What if the interior, which is already part of an inhabited house, is decorated and the furniture already has its place?

We were invited inside the house, where a wide vestibule combined various shades of beige, brown and gray, with elements of black. On the floor mosaic with two-color terrazzo. The furniture and decorations, while of high quality, did not have the right backdrop to make the WOW effect they deserve. They were juxtaposed with each other, but lived a sort of separate life. <\/span>

Adding anything to this list seemed, at first, quite crazy.
We have prepared a summary of samples of our wallpapers, with different patterns and colors. We searched with our clients for the perfect solution that would not overwhelm the interior, which included a single skylight.

Our goal was to combine the colors, found in the interior, using a wallpaper pattern, We wanted the whole of this interior to be a cohesive and cozy space for residents and their guests.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The choice fell on the reliable Chinoiserie<\/span> pattern<\/a>.<\/span> Not only the composition, but also the theme of this oriental wallpaper blended perfectly with the atmosphere of the braided furniture and the rounded shapes found in both mirrors and the back of the chair.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>, has been slightly lightened, with a reduction in the saturation of the color scheme of birds. Such a treatment made it possible to achieve a luminous effect, which provides an interesting base for the rather heavy elements in the interior of this vestibule. Elements of the wallpaper, such as birds with colorful bellies, were placed under the dimension, in such a way that they were not covered by the mirror, nor were they cut off by the dodge of the wall.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

From the moment we took the measurements of the wall opposite the front door, we knew that the wallpaper had to be prepared, in a way that would protect it from abrasion, moisture. The previous surface of the once all-white wall was covered with numerous smudges from damp clothes, shoes and carried between the living area and the garage.<\/p>\n

We decided to prepare wallpaper on vinyl with an interlining backing, with a SAND texture. The texture of the material blended with the “rubbed” background in the wallpaper pattern. In the final stage, the wallpaper was additionally treated with a resin-based preparation, which further protects it from moisture.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Selecting wallpaper for an already found interior presents several challenges. The first challenge is the choice of wallpaper color. We have a way to do it. It involves selecting wallpaper that has in its color palette the colors that are present in our interior. If you do not want to abandon your existing interior design, but want to add wallpaper to it, or just combine colors that seem a bit random, this solution will be ideal. Curtains in bottle green, a carpet in a shade of navy blue, and an armchair upholstered in pink velour…. let’s choose a wallpaper that in its pattern has these colors or two of those most prevalent in our interior.
